Autumn Show and AGM

The 2026 autumn show and AGM take place on Saturday 7 November from 10.00 to 16.00 at the British Motor Museum, Gaydon, Warwickshire CV35 0BJ, just off Junction 12 of the M40 motorway.

Entry is £10 discounted to £8 for G1MRA members. Accompanied children (16 and under) have free entry.

G1MRA are delighted to invite you to the 2026 Autumn Show and AGM on November 7th at the British Motor Museum at Gaydon in Warwickshire.

Centrally located just off junction 12 of the M40 with excellent links to London and Birmingham, the British Motor Museum is a wonderful venue to host a show with a vast array of historic vehicles spanning from the dawn of motoring to the latest Formula 1 technology. Our show will take place in the main conference suite and gallery and this year we are very excited to bring you a G1MRA first: among our exhibits is an award winning DCC scenic layout from Europe, an area of the hobby which is thriving throughout the rest of the world. As well as this we will have a G1MRA live steam track, the Vintage Tinplate group, the 3D circle, a visiting layout from The Gauge 0 Guild, various society stands from local preserved railways, Tamiya Truckin and hopefully a layout from the Cape Gauge Group which is still in development. On top of this there will be a large selection of traders for you to top up on those winter workshop items or grab a bargain.

The area has plenty to offer for those wanting to make a weekend of it. Fans of Shakespeare can visit Stratford upon Avon or if your tastes are a little more contemporary Clarksons Farm and Pub are only 20 miles away. Warwick Castle is only 8 miles away and the site of the Battle of Edgehill is close by. If all the show has to offer isn't quite enough gauge 1 for you the members at Leamington and Warwick Model railway club will have their large outdoor layout open over the weekend for those wanting to go and run.
